Liberty and Justice for all! (Libby for short)

So today I took little Libby into the vet and he told me that her lip had been torn from her gum line and she had cuts on her eye, probably due to somebody throwing her from a car! Absolutely heartbreaking! Her nails are also all the way worn down, so she probably was fighting something, either whoever did this, or an animal. And they determined that she was probably out there for a couple of days! So needless to say she is DEFINITELY now our cat, she's not going anywhere! It just makes me sick that people would do such a thing to a tiny little 1pound 8 oz. kitten, yuck! So in light of all this we decided to officially name her "Liberty (and justice for all)" Libby for short! She's a real sweetie, and Owen just adores her! In fact today he referred to her as, "my baby kitty!" They already have a budding relationship happening. It's cute. Well here's a few more pics of my little girl, tee hee:) enjoy. P.S I got her the prettiest pink collar I could find, it's nice to buy that color now!

On our way home from visiting Tim's family we saw this tiny kitten walking along the hi-way, right next to a lake. Me being the soft-hearted sap that I am, I made Tim turn around so we could rescue this helpless creature. We stopped at a couple of houses to see if this was their cat, but no one was home. So now we have a new cat! HA! She's really sweet and she and Miles get along great! God makes me laugh! Because we found her on the 4th, We think we're going to call her Liberty, Libby for short.
